The N50 Xterra snorkel system is a true Cold Air Induction (CAI) system that allows the vehicle to pull cooler and cleaner air from the roof level of the vehicle. This air contains less contaminants and is cooler, therefore providing more oxygen, allowing the engine to produce more power and operate more efficiently. The snorkel system, when properly installed and sealed, will allow for water crossings as well by allowing the engine to breathe freely above the hood-line.
